ARC REVIEW: PUCKED UP by Helena Hunting
Well the big day is here! Pucked Up is released TODAY! This book follows the hilarious Pucked novel which told the story of a very quirky Violet and a very sexy Alex. I was lucky enough to get sent the ARC of Pucked Up and I have to say that my expectations were very high for this book!
This book follows Miller 'Buck' Butterson and his relationship with Sunny, Alex's sister, while he tries to prove to everyone that he''s a changed man, no longer a manwhore to the puck bunnies!
I wouldn't say the plot is exactly thick but that's not what these books are about, they're about the sex and the hilarious mishaps! The big laugh out loud moment for me in Pucked was the Super MC fiasco, I didn't really feel like there was such a hilarious equivilant int his one, but there were lots of amusing incidents!
The sex in this book is hot, fun, sweet and sexy, there's a bit of everything. At first, I never really thought of Buck as hot. The way Violet paints him makes him sound like a hairy, sweaty creeper. But actually he sounds very attractive in this one, and I really root for him and Sunny. You find out things that just make you want to hug him, it's a really great character development for him.
So all in all, this book is great, not as hilarious as the first one, but it has all you need; characters to love, characters to hate, sexiness for you to dream about and mishaps for you to laugh over!
