REVIEW: How to Break a Cowboy by Daire St. Denis

WARNING: ALMOST TOO RAUNCHY TO REVIEW!

I didn't really remember what this book was about when I bought it. It was free and that was enough for me!

I expected one cowboy. Not two. Certainly not three. But Tess seems to handle them all very well!! It's actually quite a sweet story. They all love each other, Tess just sort of swoops in like the Mary Poppins of sex, has amazing sex with all of them, fixes their broken relationship and then flies off again!

The one thing I was impressed with that I never once thought 'Oh my god, she's just a massive slag'. Tess is portrayed as really sweet and loving. She adores the men, she knows them deeply and it shows that they have a very strong friendship.

It's briefly explained that Tess travels the world and she doesn't really have a home. Which gives a nice glimpse into why she finds home in the arms of others. The sex scenes are just extaordinary. It was rather educational! It's all so hot. If you are turned off by gay sex then just don't bother reading it, but it was really very hot and sexy all the way through.

There is a running mystery which is also what keeps you reading. Connor and Wade are the cowboys Tess original goes to visit at their ranch. When she gets there she see's Connor arrive with another cowboy, Dallas. There is obvious tension between Dallas and Wade but as they are all in an open relationship you don't really understand why. The whole story basically centers around this with Dallas, Connor and Tess trying to break Wade into admitting what is wrong. It doesn't turn out to be a big shocker but it's enough to keep you engaged. All four characters are actually completely adorable and lovable so you kind of want them to be a big happy (if not conventional) family!

It's a short story and doesn't waste any time settling you in! There are some extracts in there from other books and frankly now I want to read them too and see what what other sexcapades Tess goes on!

I would give this 5 stars on the sex alone but to keep it on the same scoring as the other books, I'll give it a 4! (The Raunch Factor is definitely a 5 though!)
