REVIEW: Submission series by Roxy Sloane

So last night I charged through all 4 of these books, needless to say I enjoyed them! If you thought you wanted Christian Grey, think again. After reading this you’ll want Cameron McCullough. I only had 50 shades to compare this with and I wasn’t very keen on 50 shades but these books were so much more than just the sub/dom relationship. They explain it all in depth, focusing on the feelings rather than the acts and you really get a chance to understand the deeper connection of it and the trust required.

Cam and Isabelle’s relationship is so hot, they are attracted to each other from the moment they first met but Cam restrains himself, thinking she would never want who he really is. But Isabelle is a great character, she had such a troubled start to life and after fending for herself for so long it’s great that she finally has somebody to take her of her, in all aspects and that’s how the sub/dom relationship is explained. Cam wants to take care of her.

The sex scenes are very well written but the plot is thick enough that it’s not all about the sex. Isabelle’s adopted brother, Brent, is the biggest dickhead imaginable and causes so many problems for Isabelle and that’s what keeps you reading most of all. You’ll fall for these characters and as the books are short (about 78 pages each) you’ll probably read them all in one sitting!

I couldn't really complain with these books, except for the amount of pages they weren't that cheap when you added them all up. Each book was nearly £2 and although the first one was free with 4 books it was nearly £6 for 312 pages. But I would say that it's worth it. I really liked the books and will definitely be reading every other book that Roxy has done!
